About Lilac Dene

Sailing and Scuba Diving

With my passion for water including sailing and Scuba Diving generally means I am mostly likely to find myself by the waters edge when “not in it” hence the seashore; therefore the word dene has not been far away from me during the last 30 years or so.

I now spend most of my free time looking for that dene below the waves.
This site is mostly dedicated to my world of diving of which is becoming an addiction, this all came about from a birthday present (PADI open course) from my partner JANE.
"Jane probably regrets ever buying the present"
What I must say now is that I’m duly great full for what Jane did; not only did the £300 get me PADI OW qualified it made me some fantastic friends.
